Research Interests
Prof. Apostol has a background that includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Studies from San Diego State University and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ. She has been an educator in the child development field working directly with children and families of diverse backgrounds and as a lecturer for the Human Development and Family and Consumer Sciences Departments at Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ. Prof. Apostol’s research interests include family interactions in multicultural environments, personality development, parenting styles and the effects on children, and children’s development according to birth order in the family.
