Featured Scholarship Recipient – Kaelyn Castillo
This October, I was blessed to be chosen on behalf of the Graduate Programs to represent Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà at the Annual Prospanica Conference. Prospanica is an organization devoted to empowering Hispanic individuals to succeed in their fields. High-level positions are not typically held by minorities and Prospanica hopes to help change that. This conference created a space for attendees to sharpen their networking skills and connect with like-minded individuals. The audience included MBA students from across the US, business professionals and corporate recruiters. As a first-generation Latina, the success stories from the wide range of Latinx speakers hit home for me. This conference gave me confidence and hope for the future of Hispanics in business. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to participate.
